Parrish Construction Group is
the Georgia continuation of the commitment to quality construction
services offered by M. M. Parrish Construction Company in North
Florida since 1940.
In the summer of 1994, Dave Cyr, President of Parrish Construction Group, was
recruited by Mike Walsh, President of M. M. Parrish Construction Company, to
establish a new corporation in Georgia. Several months later Kenna Scragg, Vice
President, joined the firm and in 1995, Parrish Construction Group was formed
and Dave, Mike and Kenna are the current principals of this privately held Georgia
firm.
Parrish has enjoyed steady
growth and an excellent reputation in the Middle Georgia
commercial construction market. Averaging approximately
$20 million in annual sales over the past several
years Parrish is currently poised for growth with
an estimated backlog volume of $28 million going
into 2004. “We’ve been tremendously blessed,” said
Dave, “we have not really felt the tight economy
over the past few years; Instead we have experienced
consistent growth in each our market areas”.
Parrish builds schools, churches, medical facilities,
industrial facilities and “anything local” according
to Kenna.
Recent growth of the company is evidenced by several new endeavors including
a satellite operations office in Waycross, Georgia; a real estate development
venture (Parrish Development Group) and the necessary expansion of their Perry,
Georgia corporate office to house their expanding staff.
