Natural Ingredients

Brick is naturally sustainable due to the main ingredient, clay, as well as other raw materials taken for use straight out of the ground. Our clay mixture is never wasted. Nearly all of our clay material is consumed at some point during our manufacturing process.

Countless Recycling Options

Reclaimed (recycled) brick is one of today’s hottest trends. Brick can be recycled by using crushed brick as a sub-base material or landscaping.

Minimal Waste & Environmentally Friendly Manufacturing Processes

At Cherokee Brick, our clay mixture is never wasted. Nearly all of our clay material is consumed at some point during our manufacturing process. Anything left over can be reused or converted into other products.

Our kilns run on both natural and methane gas. For decades, Cherokee has piped methane gas from the local landfill to use as fuel in our kilns.

Countless Recycling Options

More than just a building material, brick has a built-in market for recycled use. Brick can be recycled into new brick, crushed for sub-base materials, and chipped for permanent landscaping mulch.
